В десятках иностранных государств проживает несколько тысяч наших ветеранов, жителей блокадного Ленинграда, узников гетто и фашистских концлагерей, тружеников тыла и других участников Великой Отечественной войны, внесших неоценимый вклад в Победу.

🎖️Особой честью для сотрудников российских дипломатических представительств и консульских учреждений является реализация Указа Президента Российской Федерации от 02.09.2024 г. №743 «О юбилейной медали «80 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг.».

Торжественные церемонии по вручению этой медали, прошедшие в атмосфере заботы о ветеранах и преклонения перед их бессмертным подвигом, уже состоялись в 🇩🇪Германии, 🇮🇱Израиле, 🇨🇳Китае, 🇱🇻Латвии, 🇲🇩Молдавии, 🇲🇳Монголии, 🇳🇿Новой Зеландии, 🇸🇪Швеции, 🇪🇪Эстонии, Южной Осетии и других странах.

Мы помним о наших героях, в каких бы уголках планеты они ни находились, продолжим оказывать им всю необходимую поддержку и будем бережно хранить память о проявленных ими стойкости и воле к Победе!

Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
