Якутский кинематограф, как и любой другой кинематограф, имеет в своем каталоге утерянные (утраченные) фильмы.
Одним из таких фильмов является телефильм "Кураан кэнниттэн ардах" (Дождь после засухи) 1988 года по сценарию Семёна Ермолаева - Сиэн Өкөр.
О чём сюжет фильма? О нечаянной встрече бедняков (отца и маленького сына) с Манчаары, на фоне засухи под палящим солнцем.
В главных ролях - Михаил Семёнов и Афанасий Фёдоров. Режиссёр - Галина Раевская. Снимали в Едейцах Намского улуса.
Как же так случилось, что фильм утерян? Якутскому ТВ выделяли не так много кинопленки и кинопленку строго распределяли по редакциям. И съёмочная группа, за неимением кинопленки, сняла фильм на ПТВС (Передвижная Телевизионная Станция). И вот в 1990-е годы, из-за нехватки видеопленки, взяли видеопленку с фильмом и записали туда какую-то передачу. Фильм попросту стёрли.
От фильма остался лишь киносценарий, опубликованный в 1995 году, в сборнике пьес Семёна Ермолаева.
