Рады сообщить, что 12 и 13 октября прошли онлайн-раунды VII FDI Online Pre-Moot, организованного Российским институтом современного арбитража. Премут проводился в рамках подготовки к международному конкурсу FDI Moot и собрал участников 21 команды из разных стран.
🎉 Юрист практики разрешения споров ККМП Михаил Блат выступил арбитром премута. А наш помощник юриста Алексей Толстых выступал на премуте в качестве участника и представлял позицию истца по вопросам материального права (merits) и вопросам, связанным с соблюдением процедуры предоставления документов (documentproduction compliance).
FDI Moot является одним из самых престижных конкурсов по инвестиционному арбитражу в мире, в котором ежегодно принимают участие более 100 университетских команд из разных стран.

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. "The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth." In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed.
