Остановлена продажа книг «Дом на краю света» Майкла Каннингема и «Комната Джованни» Джеймса Болдуина, сообщили в пресс-службе группы «Эксмо-АСТ». Каннингем известен российскому читателю по роману «Часы» — в экранизации произведения снялась Мерил Стрип.
Ранее сообщалось, что АСТ прекратило продажи романа Владимира Сорокина «Наследие».
Как объяснили в издательстве, все три книги были направлены на экспертизу в Российский книжный союз. Комиссия пришла к заключению, что произведения содержат информацию, нарушающую закон о пропаганде ЛГБТ
