Обучение пилотов-инструкторов работе с БПЛА массой свыше 30 кг проводится в Авиационном учебном центре МАИ при участии НПП «Радар ММС». Выполняемый таким типом беспилотников спектр авиационных работ широк и перспективен, отмечает директор Центра подготовки авиационного и неавиационного персонала Авиационного учебного центра МАИ Наталия Шовгеня.
ВТ-440 применяется для доставки грузов в труднодоступные районы, распыления и разбрасывания химических веществ, мониторинга, экоконтроля, поисково-спасательных работ, ледовой разработки, контртеррористических и патрульно-охранных задач.
