Сто семь лет назад в боях с германскими войсками под Псковом и Нарвой родилась героическая Рабоче-крестьянская Красная Армия, служившая на протяжении последующих десятилетий надёжным оплотом независимости первого в мире государства рабочих и крестьян. Она выполняла важную миссию в плане содействия народам разных стран в их борьбе против колониального ига, за равенство и за справедливость.
В 1918 году трудовой народ, откликнувшись на призыв в статье В.И. Ленина “Социалистическое Отечество в опасности!” дать отпор агрессии западного империализма, встал в строй, чтобы дать отпор противнику и отстоять независимость своей Родины.
