فقد استطاع هذا الرجل الشريك والصديق المقرب من ترومان منذ أيام الحرب العالمية الأولى إقناعه بضرورة مقابلة وايزمان والاستماع له، وذلك على الرغم من اعتراض كثير من موظفي وزارة الخارجية الأميركية وتوصياتهم بضرورة الحياد والابتعاد عن الدعم المباشر والقوي لإسرائيل إذا أرادت أميركا أن يكون لها تأثير في الشرق الأوسط. لقد وصف إيدي جاكوبسون صديقه زعيم الصهيونية العالمية وايزمان بأنه مثل "موسى عصره"، وهو تشبيه ديني كان له تأثير مباشر في قناعة ترومان وحرصه على مقابلته. وفي تلك المقابلة لعب وايزمان بهدوء شديد على المعاناة الإنسانية التي تعرض لها اليهود في محارق النازية في أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية، وكيف أنه يسعى لإحلال السلام في الشرق الأوسط، وحل المشكلة اليهودية بصورة جذرية.

The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel.
