Контракт на 6 796 092 лари, по данным BM.ge, уже подписан с Communal Technology LLC, которая является официальным представителем Cellebrite в Грузии.
Согласно условиям соглашения, Грузия получит оборудование в течение 20 календарных дней, а срок действия лицензий составит 3 года.
Устройства предназначены для экспертно-криминалистического департамента МВД.
BM.ge отмечает, что продукция Cellebrite активно используется правоохранительными органами США, Европы и Азии, однако компания неоднократно становилась объектом критики в странах, где ее технологии использовались для ограничения гражданских свобод.
