Памятник общенациональному лидеру Азербайджана будет установлен в парке, где находится памятник Низами Гянджеви - рядом с посольством Азербайджана в России. Сегодня в этом парке был заложен фундамент памятника Гейдару Алиеву.
Отметим, что инициаторами установки памятника стали ветераны строительства Байкало-Амурской магистрали (БАМ), работавшие под руководством Гейдара Алиева.
