Такий вид покарання означає, що Трампу не присудили увʼязнення, випробувального терміну чи штрафу.
Водночас у нього залишиться формальна судимість, тож 47-ий президент США стане першим в історії країни президентом, засудженим за кримінальний злочин.
АПД. Суддя заявив, що будь-яке покарання заважало б виконанню Трампом обов’язків президента, але уточнив, що це не скасовує серйозності вчинених злочинів.
