На самом деле это — яйцо-подвес для паникадила, большого центрального светильника православного храма. Это традиционное церковное украшение даже имеет свое название — cтрофокамилово яйцо. Слово «строфокамил» пришло в русский язык из греческого и обозначало раньше страуса. Подвес с металлической оправой и декоративной кистью из нашей коллекции был создан в XIX веке. Как вам такой экспонат?
