الوجه الخامس: هذا التعليل (ذَٰلك أدنى أن يُعرفْنَ فلا يؤذيْنَ) راجع إلىٰ الإدناء، المفهوم من قوله: (يُدْنِينَ) وهو حكم بالأولىٰ على وجوب ستر الوجه؛ لأن ستره علامة على معرفة العفيفات فلا يؤذين، فهذه الآية نصٌ على ستر الوجه وتغطيته، ولأنّ من تستر وجهها لا يطمع فيها طامع بالكشف عن باقي بدنها وعورتها، فصار في كشف الحجاب عن الوجه تعرض لها بالأذى من السُّفهاء، فدلَّ هذا التعليل على فرض الحجاب على نساء المؤمنين لجميع البدن والزينة بالجلباب، وذلك حتى يعرفن بالعفة، وأنهن مستورات محجبات بعيدات عن أهل الرِّيب والخنا، وحتى لت يفتَتِنَّ ولا يفتن غيرهن فلا يؤذين. ومعلوم أن المرأة إذا كانت غاية في الستر والانضمام، لم يقدم عليها من في قلبِهِ مرض، وكَفَّت عنها الأعين الخائنة، بخلاف المتبرجة المنتشرة الباذلة لوجهها، فإنها مطموع فيها.
