К 2030 году планируется завершить строительство транспортного кольца вокруг Азовского моря протяженностью 1400 км. Проект стоимостью 500–600 млрд рублей увеличит пропускную способность дорог в три раза и сократит время в пути вокруг моря на 5 часов.
Маршрут пройдет через Ростов-на-Дону, Таганрог, Мариуполь, Бердянск, Джанкой, Краснодар и Крым. Почти 670 км будут четырехполосными, а 116 км — трехполосными.
Работы уже идут: построен 120-километровый скоростной подход к Крымскому мосту, модернизируют трассу А-290 «Новороссийск — Керчь». В итоге появится бессветофорный путь от Санкт-Петербурга до Севастополя.
Новые дороги оживят регион, снизят нагрузку на Сочи, Анапу и Геленджик и сделают путешествия к морю удобнее.
