очень понравились так называемые «гирлянды»! эти тонко написанные картины имитировали живые цветы, которыми в дни религиозных праздников украшали мраморные или керамические рельефы с изображениями Христа, Богородицы или святых.
труд живописцев был четко разделен: сначала натюрмортист писал гирлянду, а затем — персонажей.
