- الوقوع في الذّنوب وعدم الاستغفار عنها بالإقلاع عن مُواقعة أسبابها؛ يتسبّب كثيرًا بخمود حرارة الإيمان، ومن تبَعات الذنوب؛ أنّ العبد يُحرم بسببها الإقبال على النّوافل، ويُحرم بسببها لذّة الطاعة والإيمان، فإنّ الطاعة لها حلاوة تُباشر القلب وتزيد من إدراكه لكثير من المَعاني الشّريفة، ومن شأن الذّنوب؛ أنّها تؤصد عن العبد كلّ باب يُوصله للمَعالي، لا سيّما باب قيام الليل والوقوف بين يدي الله تعالى، فإنّ الوقوف بين يديه في ظلمة الليل والنّاس نيام؛ شرفٌ ليس بعده شرف، ومن العبر أنّ هناك رجُل جاء للحسن البَصري، فقال له: "إنّي أبيت مُعافى، وأحبّ طهوري، فما بالي لا أقوم؟ فقال الحسن: "ذنوبك قيّدتك"، وقال رحمه الله: "إنّ العبد ليُذنب الذّنب فيُحرم به قيام الليل، وصيام النّهار"، وقال الفضيل بن عياض: "إذا لم تقدر على قيام الليل، وصيام النّهار؛ فاعلم أنّك مَحروم مُكبَّل، كبَّلتك خطيئتك".. نسأله تعالى أن يتجاوز عنّا، ويغفر لنا زلّاتنا، وأن لا يحرمنا فضله بسوء أعمالنا!
