В 1941 году моему папе было 17 лет. Он приписал себе год, так делали в 41-ом многие мальчишки-выпускники школ, и ушёл добровольцем на фронт. А его мама, моя бабуля, осталась в Москве. Во время фашистских авианалётов на столицу она дежурила на крыше дома, тушила зажигательные бомбы.
Папа прошёл всю войну, был ранен, вернулся в строй. И все военные годы отправлял маме с фронта полевой почтой письма-треугольнички.

Памятник, символизирующий благодарную память поколений выполнен в форме фронтового письма-треугольника. В сплав памятника войдут тонны советских монеток, сохранившихся в семьях наших граждан. Народный памятник. Народная память.
Сегодня в Музее Победы состоялась торжественная церемония передачи монет для памятника, собранных сотнями тысяч людей.
