Новый год в русской школе

Как мы поздравили местных детей и что волонтеры «Интербригад» сделали за праздники

Начало 2025 года мы встретили в русской школе. В первые дни праздников наши волонтеры совершили гуманитарный выезд по пгт. Нижнее и вручили местным детям подарки, переданные прихожанами Свято-Успенского храма города Славянска-на-Кубани и жителями села Пречистое Ярославской области

Мы благодарны неравнодушным не только за помощь «Интербригадам» в восстановлении школы, но и за поддержку местного населения. В условиях войны и ее разрушений это важно как никогда. Жители новых территориях нуждаются в нас.

Так же в школу прибыл московский волонтер товарищ Равиль и приступил к монтажу сантехнических коммуникаций. Мы привезли необходимые для для продолжения работ материалы и инструменты.
Силами местных рабочих идут завершающие работы по оштукатуриванию коридора и начата штукатурка второго корпуса. Надеемся, что совсем скоро сможем поделиться отчетом о проделанной работе.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. "The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into."
