В ходе исследования было обследовано 87 домов. Оказалось, что газовая конфорка или духовка, нагретая примерно до 180 ℃, выделяет в воздух больше бензола, чем выкуренная сигарета.
Врачи отмечают, что даже низкие дозы бензола повышают риск различных видов рака, включая лимфомы и лейкемию.
