В преддверии Нового года депутаты Московской городской Думы Александр Лиханов, Алексей Кучмин, Евгений Селиверстов и Ольга Мельникова приняли участие в благотворительной акции «Ёлка желаний». Они исполнили заветные мечты детей, сделав их праздник по-настоящему волшебным.

Акция «Ёлка желаний» направлена на поддержку детей, которые особенно нуждаются в заботе и внимании: детей с инвалидностью, сирот, детей участников СВО и многодетных семей. Депутаты с радостью взяли на себя роль Деда Мороза, вручая подарки и даря радость юным мечтателям.

One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Meanwhile, a completely redesigned attachment menu appears when sending multiple photos or vides. Users can tap "X selected" (X being the number of items) at the top of the panel to preview how the album will look in the chat when it's sent, as well as rearrange or remove selected media.
