Ово (Owo) — третий и самый северный из трех старых «священных королевских городов» в Нигерии (в их составе Ифе, Бенин и Ово). В ходе своей долгой истории Ово часто подвергался военной оккупации со стороны Бенина. Культура и искусство Ово также очень похожи на бенинские. Часто бывает трудно отличить произведения искусства из Ово от произведений искусства из Бенина.

Особым «изобретением» культуры и искусства Ово являются алтарные бараньи головы с длинными изогнутыми рогами, называемые «Осамасинми» (“Osamasinmi”). Они также существовали и в Бенине, но редко и, вероятно, были заимствованы под влиянием культуры Ово. Эти «бараньи головы Осамасинми» стояли на собственных алтарях и окраплялиь жидкими жертвенными приношениями.

"Markets were cheering this economic recovery and return to strong economic growth, but the cheers will turn to tears if the inflation outbreak pushes businesses and consumers to the brink of recession," he added.
