Сегодня, в День памяти жертв политических репрессий, глава Совета по правам человека Валерий Фадеев и директор Музея истории ГУЛАГа Роман Романов возложили цветы к «Стене Скорби» на проспекте Сахарова.

Монумент работы скульптора Георгия Франгуляна был открыт семь лет назад, 30 октября 2017 года, после проведения открытого конкурса.

Основу композиции мемориала составляют взмывающие ввысь фигуры, символизирующие хрупкость человеческой жизни на фоне многотонной беспощадной системы.

Частью мемориала стали природные камни из регионов России, чья история связана с советскими политическими репрессиями. В ходе акции, организованной музеем, было собрано 173 камня из 58 регионов.

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation. We don’t know what it means to earnings.”
