❗️Україна повернула з російського полону 189 українських військових, повідомив президент Зеленський.

Це військові — захисники «Азовсталі» та Маріуполя, ЧАЕС, острова Зміїного, із різних напрямків фронту. Серед них солдати, сержанти, офіцери. Це нацгвардійці, у тому числі «азовці», прикордонники, тероборонівці, воїни ВМС та ЗСУ. І також двоє цивільних, які були захоплені в Маріуполі.

But, if all of this is new to you, let us explain, dear friends, what on Earth a Telegram is meant to be, and why you should, or should not, need to care. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
