Об этом заявила министр национальной обороны Литвы Довиле Шакалене.
«Поскольку Литва приближается к расходам в четыре процента от ВВП на оборону и оценивает возможности для дальнейшего увеличения финансирования обороны, мы ожидаем, что альянс установит минимальный целевой показатель в три процента на саммите НАТО в Гааге этим летом», – сказала глава литовского военного ведомства.
По её словам, это позволит подготовить необходимые оборонные возможности и в том числе решить «крайне чувствительный вопрос ПВО северо-восточного фланга».
