Создание единого экономического пространства подразумевает повышение транспортной связанности Крыма и Севастополя с новыми регионами, Кубанью, Белгородской, Воронежской и Ростовской областями. Также стратегия включает меры по уменьшению нехватки кадров, инвестиционные проекты в угольной отрасли и развитие туристического кластера Приазовья.
