Здесь произрастают помимо представителей местной флоры также породы дальневосточных деревьев и ель колючая (в народе голубая).

Рядом находится знаменитый Новосибирский зоопарк. Когда-то при расширении часть территории дендропарка ушла в зоопарк. Что интересно туда ушла часть из самых ценных участков. Это компактные посадки бархата амурского, лиственницы даурской, клёнов мелколистного (моно), зеленокорого и маньчжурского. Теперь попасть к этим деревьям можно только купив билет в зоопарк 🤷‍♂️
