القتال لحماية مصالح المسلمين، وبسط سلطان المسلمين في الأرض، والنفوذ والعلو على الأعداء: هذا هو القتال الديني عندنا، وإن سماه البعض قتالا سياسيا أو قتالا للمصلحة، ومن العجيب أن يوَصِّف الناس قتال المسلمين للكفار على مصالحهم ونفوذهم وسيطرتهم وعلوهم على أنه ليس قتالا لأجل الدين، وإنما لأجل المصالح، ولست أدري ما هو القتال الديني في تصور هؤلاء البعض، هل هو القتال لإكراه الناس على اعتناق الإسلام مثلا؟ نعم، كلما عظم حظنا من وصف "المسلمين" وزاد تمسكنا بالإسلام، كنا أعظم إصابة وأكثر استقامة وعملا بالدين، لكن متى نقص حظنا من ذلك فقتالنا لعدونا على أصل الإسلام باق، وعلونا عليه وحماية مصالحنا مطلوب.
