Четвёртый год подряд в Рейкявике избранный художник показывает что хочет на 600 рекламных билбордах по всему городу в течение нескольких дней. Инициатива называется Billboard Add Break (типа «перерыв в рекламе»). В этом году модная художница Рони Хорн показала жителям Исландии лицо Изабель Юппер, чтобы не забывали, видимо, французский артхаус.

Для компаний, сдающих рекламные площади, это мудрый маркетинговый ход. Люди давно выработали толерантность к рекламе и на уличные билборды не смотрят. Чтобы снизить толерантность и привлечь внимание нужно устраивать такие паузы под предлогом арт-просвещения или политического активизма, после чего прохожие с большей вероятностью посмотрят на билборд когда на нём появится реклама.

Стоит признать, среди снегов и ёлок такое выглядит эффектно.
