В турнире приняли участие команды юношей и девушек 2015–2016 годов рождения из Борисоглебска и Тамбова. Для многих спортсменов это был дебютный соревновательный опыт.
В первый день были разыграны основные призы. Победу одержали гости из Тамбова, выигравшие все свои матчи. Борисоглебские девушки завоевали второе место, а юноши — третье. Лучшими игроками борисоглебских команд в первый день стали Андрей Кривенцов и Вероника Студеникина.
