В минувшую ночь боевики, связанные с Аль-Каидой (JNIM), атаковали стратегически важный г. Ниоро-дю-Сахель в Мали, расположенный всего в 21 км от границы с Мавританией.

Целью нападавших, как сообщается, были военные позиции около города, а также резиденция губернатора и штаб-квартира жандармерии в центре Ниоро-дю-Сахель.

Власти признали об одном погибшем солдате, заявив о 30 ликвидированных террористах при отражении атаки. Мы считаем, что всё наоборот.

Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
