Отношения СССР с Китаем в те годы оставляли желать лучшего (особенно после конфликта у о. Даманский), поэтому об этом было срочно доложено в Москву. К каким результатам привело расследование - неизвестно. Должно быть, это была шутка какого-либо из практикантов, тем более, что юных поклонников "великого Кормчего" в СССР хватало.
