«Мастер своего дела», «Патриот своей Родины», «автор своей автобиографии» – примеры речевой избыточности или плеоназма. Плеоназм – оборот речи, в котором повторяются слова, одинаковые или близкие по значению.
«Лично я», кстати, тоже плеоназм. Но он бывает уместен, когда хочется усилить эмоцию, акцентировать внимание.
«Мастер своего дела» такой суперсилой не обладает.
