Как сообщала корреспондент ТВЦ Ольга Скрипникова в своём телеграм-канале, пятна, похожие на разлив нефтепродуктов, появились у посёлка Подножье на Русском острове после того, как там пришвартовались два рыболовецких траулера «Ленск» и «Билене». Жители говорят, что во время сброса воды в море уходят и остатки нефтепродуктов.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments.
