Чтобы быстрее вернуться домой, ему необходимо выполнить три обязательных условия — отбыть большую часть срока, заручиться положительной характеристикой администрации учреждения и возместить потерпевшим материальный ущерб.
Только тогда он может обращаться с ходатайством об УДО в местный суд. Если прокурор, потерпевшие и представитель пенитенциарного учреждения не выступают против, то судьи обычно дают добро на освобождение из колонии.
