Wrote an app to generate #altText for images powered by #GPT-4o, which should have been some automation scripts instead, but Android doesn’t have something well-rounded as Shortcut on iOS.
Actually the app itself is also mostly written by #ChatGPT (o1-preview), and is mostly functional after 4 hours of work. Maybe I’ll brush it up a bit more before open-sourcing it. 🐟

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. Elsewhere, version 8.6 of Telegram integrates the in-app camera option into the gallery, while a new navigation bar gives quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried.
