Евросоюз утвердил 16-й пакет санкций против России, включающий новые ограничения для 53 организаций, поддерживающих российский военно-промышленный комплекс. В список попали компании из Казахстана, Узбекистана, Турции, ОАЭ, Китая, Индии и Сингапура.
Основные меры санкционного пакета:
- Расширенные ограничения на экспорт и транзит через РФ продукции, укрепляющей российский промышленный потенциал, включая химикаты, определенные виды пластмасс и каучука.
- Запрет на финансовые операции с отдельными портами и аэропортами России, задействованными в поставках дронов, ракет и связанных с ними технологий, а также в обходе нефтяных санкций.
- Отключение 13 российских банков от системы SWIFT.
- Приостановка лицензий на вещание ряда российских СМИ: EADaily, Fondsk, Lenta, NewsFront, RuBaltic, SouthFront, Фонд стратегической культуры и Красная звезда (Tvzvezda).

When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
