Как выяснилось в ходе процесса, речь идёт о взыскании денег по тем уголовным делам, которые уже вступили в силу. Фигурантом этих дел являлся Василий Усольцев, а сумма взыскания может превысить один миллиард рублей. Напомним, что весной 2021 года Василий Усольцев был осуждён за легализацию имущества, добытого преступным путём, к двум годам заключения условно и штрафу в 500 тысяч рублей. В ходе того процесса выяснилось, что с 2009 по 2011 гг. Усольцев произвёл несколько операций мены акций, в результате чего стал получателем четырёх денежных траншей – на 227 млн рублей, на 219 млн рублей, на 202 млн рублей и 336 млн рублей.
