Один из рассмотренных вопросов касался обеспечения условий для строительства железной дороги на территории Конаковского округа до проектируемого транспортно-пересадочного узла «Завидово», который объединит водный, железнодорожный и автомобильный транспорт.
Как отметил глава региона, Завидово - крупнейший проект в сфере туризма с высокой транспортной доступностью благодаря расположению недалеко трасс М-10 и М-11. Там планируется открыть еще три отеля с общим объемом номерного фонда 1400 единиц, а также два крупных центра отдыха.
В целом планируется достичь турпотока в Завидово на уровне 1 миллиона гостей ежегодно.
