В ликвидационных мероприятиях задействованы более 7 тыс. человек и 550 единиц техники. Оперштабом Кубани было принято решение об увеличении количества инженерной техники — на пляжах Анапы на сегодняшнюю дату на береговой линии в работе находятся более 250 самосвалов и фронтальных погрузчиков.

На Кубани также определили состав рабочей группы ученых для поиска наиболее эффективных способов сбора и утилизации мазута. В состав группы вошли более 20 представителей вузов и НИИ Кубани, Москвы и новых территорий РФ.
