Входящее в Ростех ОНПП «Технология» имени Ромашина начало серийный выпуск остекления кабин машиниста для поездов столичного метрополитена «Москва-2024», а также для вагонов «Балтиец», курсирующих в подземке Санкт-Петербурга.
Главная особенность изделий – сверхтонкая пленка оксида металла, которую наносят на поверхность остекления. Толщина этого слоя не больше 60 нМ – тоньше человеческого волоса. Покрытие проводит электрический ток, который равномерно обогревает конструкцию. Благодаря этому стекло сохраняет полную прозрачность в мороз и при перепадах температуры. Например, когда поезд выходит из тоннеля на открытый участок линии.
Технология позволяет изготавливать конструкции со сложной геометрией и футуристичным дизайном. Первые комплекты для головных вагонов уже отправлены заказчику.
