Твердый контракт на поставку 12 таких поездов с опционом еще на 6 единиц был заключен с национальным перевозчиком ONCF по итогам тендера. Церемония подписания состоялась вчера в рамках государственного визита в Марокко президента Франции Эмманюэля Макрона.
По словам гендиректора ONCF Мохамеда Раби Хли, по сравнению с испанской CAF и южнокорейской Hyundai Rotem предложение Alstom было лучшим как по цене, так и по качеству. Стоимость контракта и модель предлагаемого к поставкам подвижного состава не раскрываются.
Ранее Alstom поставила в страну 12 высокоскоростных двухэтажных поездов Avelia Euroduplex (на фото). С ноября 2018 года подвижной состав курсирует на линии Аль-Бурак с максимальной скоростью 320 км/ч.
Стоит отметить, что ONCF продолжает проводить тендер на поставку 150 региональных поездов. По его условиям, победитель должен будет создать завод в стране и построить депо.
