Ракета-носитель среднего класса «Союз-5» получила название «Иртыш», головным разработчиком является РКК «Энергия».
Это будет двухступенчатая ракета, которую запустят с «Байконура» в рамках совместного проекта с Казахстаном со старта, который ранее использовался ракетами «Зенит».
«Союз-5» сможет вывести на опорную орбиту до 17 тонн.
