«Мой отец родился в Сахалинской области в 1926 году, о чем есть запись в свидетельстве о рождении. Поэтому ему очень сложно было объяснить, каким образом дату основания региона празднуем с 1947 года», — отметил председатель комитета Сахалинской областной Думы по социальной политике Александр Болотников.
Он считает, что необходимо увековечить две даты: 1947 (признанную сейчас) и 1909 год, когда на территории русской части Сахалина была образована Сахалинская область в составе Приамурского генерал-губернаторства. В это время Александровск-Сахалинский был столицей острова. В 2008 году в областной Думе уже выступали с такой инициативой. Не хватило одного голоса. Впрочем, есть и другие варианты.

For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. As such, the SC would like to remind investors to always exercise caution when evaluating investment opportunities, especially those promising unrealistically high returns with little or no risk. Investors should also never deposit money into someone’s personal bank account if instructed.
