Многим градозащитникам этот адрес памятен еще по 2008 году, когда считалось, что эти дома готовится снести компания "Амбассадор" (та самая, которая в 2002 году уничтожила дома 5 и 7 по Римского-Корсакова).
В то время дома Злобина удалось отстоять. Но состояние их неуклонно ухудшалось, а в последние годы они начали окончательно превращаться в заброшки.
