В 1975 году открылся новый цирк фундаментального здания на 2000 мест. (Архитекторы Л.Б.Сегал, Э.С.Акопов, И.А.Шадрин). Среди директоров: К.Червоткин, Д.Левицкий, П.Воронцов.
В новом здании цирк начал свою работу с того, что в ноябре 1975 года в нем состоялось торжественное заседание городской общественности, посвящённое 57-й годовщине Великой Октябрьской революции.
Днем официального открытия нового здания цирка является 1 января 1976 года.
