Есть легенда, что изначально (во время проектирования) станцию хотели назвать «Астанинская», в честь столицы. Но мэр Москвы Юрий Лужков был против. Он сказал, что жители города сразу придумают ей созвучное, но не самое благозвучное имя переставив первые 2 буквы
