В самом конце заседания, когда Державин, Фонвизин, Княжнин, Лепехин и другие собирались уходишь, Екатерина Дашкова попросила, чтобы кто-нибудь из присутствующих написал слово "ёлка". Ученые решили, что княгиня шутит, но слово все же написали – "iолка".
После этого Дашкова предложила ввести в обиход новую букву – "ё". Доводы княгини показались академикам убедительными и спустя год новая буква была официально включена в алфавит.

So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces "destroy the invaders wherever we can."
