Украина вряд ли сможет выйти на границы 1991 года, считает президент Чехии Петр Павел.
"Маловероятно, что Украина сможет вернуть себе всю свою территорию в пределах международно-признанных границ, по крайней мере, в обозримом будущем. Украинцы сегодня признают, что такого результата вряд ли удастся достичь в ближайшем будущем", - заявил Павел в интервью газете Die Presse.
Также он коснулся темы послевоенных переговоров, частью которых, по его мнению, будет членство Украины в НАТО. Судя их слов чешского президента, Киев может поступиться членством в Альянсе в обмен на гарантии безопасности и военное присутствие западных стран.
"Впоследствии можно вести переговоры, потому что членство Украины в НАТО можно обменять на что-то. Например, на гарантии, когда речь идет о военном присутствии", - сказал Павел.
По его мнению, "эти дискуссии потребуют значительных дипломатических навыков и политического давления".
При этом Павел считает, что "Росся не удовлетворится только частью Украины".
