В 2022 г. аграрии Дагестана засеяли 32,2 тыс. га риса, что является абсолютным рекордом за всё время выращивания данной культуры в республике. Изначально предполагалось, что в РД соберут не более 135 тыс. тонн риса, но теперь планка поднята — планируется собрать свыше 140 тыс. тонн.
В 2021 г. в республике собрали 119 тыс. тонн, в позапрошлом — чуть более 110 тыс. Темпы роста впечатляют.
Достичь результатов Краснодарского края, где обычно засевают рисом 120 тыс. га, пока сложно, но Дагестан, очевидно, с каждым годом повышает свой вклад в продовольственную безопасность России. Особенно он будет заметен в текущем году. На Кубани из-за обрушения плотины засеяли рисом в этом сезоне только 92 тыс. га.

In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
