پس از سال ها تلاش پژوهشگران، سرانجام قفل خواندن ایلامی خطی شکسته شد و گروهی از پژوهشگران موفق به رمزگشایی این خط شده اند. این اتفاق مهم دریچه های تازه ای به روی پژوهشگران خواهد گشود و باید آن را به فال نیک گرفت. در مقالۀ مفصلی که همین امروز به قلم فرانسوا دوسه، کامبیز طبیب زاده، متیو کروران، جیان پیترو بازلو و جیانی مارکزی در مجلۀ معروف آشورشناسی (Zeitschrift für Assyriologie) منتشر شده این موضوع با جزئیات فراوان به بحث گذاشته شده است.
مشخصات کتابشناسی این مقاله که به پیوست ارسال گردیده، بدین شرح است:

Amélie Kuhrt FBA (23 September 1944 - 2 January 2023) was a British historian and specialist in the history of the ancient Near East.
She was educated at King's College London, University College London and SOAS.
Professor Emerita at University College London, she specialised in the social, cultural and political history of the region from c. 3000-100 BC, especially the Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian and Seleucid empires. She was co-organiser of the Achaemenid History Workshops from 1983 to 1990.
