На фоне падения отгрузок угля повышение НДПИ отразится на прибыльности добывающих компаний не лучшим образом. В 2023 году уголь попал под экспортную курсовую пошлину, тогда потери компаний достигли ₽174 млрд в год. С начала 2024 ее отменили, но при условии увеличения НДПИ. В целом же стоимость экспортного угля в 2023 году снизилась на 10%, отрасль ожидает дальнейшего сокращения спроса и не исключает введения импортных пошлин в Китае.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces "destroy the invaders wherever we can."
